Penélope Cruz and Antonio Banderas star as two egomaniacs commissioned by a millionaire to make a movie in this sharp comedy skewering wealth, art, and pride. Filmmaker Lola Cuevas (Cruz), is given carte blanche over the casting of the movie, and pits together acclaimed (but snobbish) ‘actor’ Ivan against handsome (but superficial) screen icon Felix, believing that the tension between the two will help the film’s dynamic. THE PENGUIN LESSONS
Starring Oscar nominee Steve Coogan, this poignant dramedy follows an Englishman’s personal and political awakening after he adopts a penguin, during a cataclysmic period in Argentine history.
