Hindolveston (NTRO10966) Notice

In accordance with the provisions of Section 14(2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the Norfolk County Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that owing to emergency repairs to a collapsed footbridge the use by the public of the Hindolveston FP3 from its junction with Guestwick Road for 109 metres north-westwards (the “Footpath”) in the Parish of Hindolveston will be temporarily prohibited/restricted.

Alternative route is via: N/A.

The works promoter for this restriction/closure is: Norfolk County Council.

The closure/restriction is necessary because of the likelihood of danger to the public or serious damage to the Footpath or both.

The closure/restriction is anticipated to take place from 18^th February to 11^th March 2026.

This Notice shall automatically revoke on the completion of the works / when the closure/restriction is no longer necessary or otherwise on the 11^th March 2026 without further notice.

If necessary, this Notice may be extended for an additional 21 days by further Notice and/or for a maximum of 6 months from the date this Notice is effective by further Order.

A person who contravenes, or who uses the Footpath in contravention of the restriction/ closure imposed by the Order shall be guilty of an offence.

Penalty: £1000 maximum fine on conviction and/or endorsement for contravention.

Norfolk County Council proposes to make a Temporary Traffic Regulation Order (the “Order”) (NTRO9989) affecting the Fulmodeston Road from 80m east of its junction with Church Lane for 170m eastwards (the “Road”) in the Parish of Hindolveston to facilitate telegraph pole replacement works, the Road will be temporarily closed (except for pedestrian access) for the duration of the works/period the closure is necessary which is anticipated to be from 25^th to 26^th September 2025, but may continue to be closed/restricted until the 7^th November 2025 where the closure is still required beyond the anticipated dates.

Alternative route is via: Fulmodeston Road, B1110 Dereham Road, B1354 Briston Road, Hindolveston Road, Melton Road, The Street (Briningham, Hindolveston, Swanton Novers, Wood Norton, Melton Constable).

The works promoter for this restriction/closure is: BT.

Vehicular access will be permitted to a final destination in the Road where signs indicating such access is possible and permitted are in place.

The Order shall automatically revoke on the completion of the works when the closure is no longer necessary or otherwise on the 7^th November 2025 without further notice.

If necessary, the restriction could run for a maximum period of 18 months from the date the Order is effective.

A person who contravenes, or who uses or permits the use of a vehicle in contravention of the closure imposed by the Order shall be guilty of an offence.

Penalty: £1000 maximum fine on conviction and/or endorsement for contravention.

Briston (NTRO9703) Notice

In accordance with the provisions of Section 14(2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the Norfolk County Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that owing to Anglian Water repairs of a burst water main the use by vehicles (of any class) of the Craymere Road from 550m southwest of its junction with C267 Reepham Road for 50m south westwards (the “Road”) in the Parish of Briston will be temporarily prohibited/restricted.

Alternative route is via: Craymere Road, Reepham Road, Wood Dalling Road, Hindolveston Road, Craymere Beck Road, Craymere Beck (Thurning, Hindolveston, Melton Constable, Briston).

The closure/restriction is necessary because of the likelihood of danger to the public or serious damage to the road or both.

The closure/restriction is anticipated to take place from 14^th to 20^th May 2025 but the Road may continue to be closed/restricted until the 3^rd June 2025 where the closure/restriction is still required beyond the anticipated dates.

This Notice shall automatically revoke on the completion of the works / when the closure/restriction is no longer necessary or otherwise on the 3^rd June 2025 without further notice.

If necessary, this Notice may be extended for an additional 21 days by further Notice and/or for a maximum of 18 months from the date this Notice is effective by further Order.
