Hindolveston Village

  • Notice: Crafts-in-Action on Tour in Blakeney 13 – 14 July 2018

    That restless bunch of crafty crafters are being let out of the village for their summer holidays on the North Norfolk coast. This time they are escaping to Blakeney from Friday 13th  to Saturday 14thJuly to share their wares between 10am to 4pm in the Blakeney Village Hall.

    Indeed, CiA are endeavouring to further the village reputation as being the culturally crafty centre of East Anglia, following on from their 2017 campaign in Burnham Deepdale.

    So far 14 crafters from the village have signed up to be there there is almost certain to be cake as well as fantastic hand made crafts for sale.

    Come along and support us and enjoy the delights of Blakeney. There is a National Trust car park on the quay opposite the Village Hall, which is open to all and free to NT members. Alternatively, park at Wiverton Hall where you can have a NFN cup of tea, then wander along the coastal path into Blakeney.

    Entry to the Village Hall is free although you will be tempted to part with some cash once you see the crafty products on sale.

  • Notice: Vacancy in Office of Parish Councillor – March 2018

    PARISH OF HINDOLVESTON

    NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN

    that a casual vacancy has arisen in the Office of Councillor for the Parish Council.

    If by 10 April, 2018 (14 days excluding Dies Non, after the date of this notice) a request for an election to fill said vacancy is made in writing to the Returning Officer at the address below by TEN electors for the said Parish, an election will be held to fill the said vacancy, otherwise the vacancy will be filled by co-option.

    If an election is called, it will take place not later than 14 June, 2018.

    Gresham’s Prep School present their traditional Summer Concert. Admission is free and refreshments will be available;lable at the end. A retiring collection will be made for the upkeep of the church. Poster to follow.
